Community and Social

Community Involvement

At Aquatica Environmental we believe that running an ethical business means we should give a bit of our time and expertise back to the community, be it our local, national or global community.  We are, or were previously, involved in the following community causes and activities:
  • Active volunteer membership of the Werribee River and Yarra River Associations.
  • WaterWatch monitoring and fund raising after the Black Saturday fires in Melbourne’s outer northeast.
  • Donating our time to help at Edendale Community Farm in Eltham.
We are currently looking for a new cause to take on, so if you have any ideas feel free to contact us.

Charitable Causes

Over the years our team has contributed to a range of environmental and community charities including:
  • Wildlife Victoria – we donated the full sale price of our home gown eggs, including matching all sales by 100% with our own funds.
  • Collecting bedding material for veterinary clinics dealing with injured wildlife post Black Saturday brushfires.
  • Cooking for a range of fund raisers including the Big Breakfast, bake-off, curry-off, chilli-off.
  • Supporting Panton Hill CFA when they run fundraisers.
